As a family, we first set eyes on Iden Manor back in 2003 and instantly felt there was something truly special about it. We knew that the building itself would help shape the warmth, comfort, and care we wanted for both residents and our team, so turning it into a care home felt natural.
Once a much-loved private residence, Iden Manor has always been a place of service and connection to the community. Its wide corridors, high ornate ceilings, and original period features don’t just tell a story of the past – they create a calm, uplifting environment that feels safe and welcoming.
There’s a presence here that you notice the moment you arrive. The house seems to embrace you, with a quiet calm that flows gently through every room.
And it isn’t just the building that gives Iden its character. It’s the people who fill it. The laughter that drifts down the corridors, the friendships formed over shared cups of tea, and the dedication of our skilled and happy team. Even Ossie the dog, who is a regular visitor, pads happily around the home and has become a much-loved companion to residents and visitors alike.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful people, and our commitment remains as strong today as it was on that very first day.
